Mass Fight between Parents at under 10's Football Game.

In the News

This was the moment adults began fighting in the crowd at an under-ten's football match in Sutton Coldfield. The shocking footage showed the brawl break out at Boldmere St Michael's FC yesterday, Sunday, September 8.

Police were called to the scene after spectators clashed in The Harry Peakman Stand during the game. Adults were seen running across the pitch towards the melee.

I always remember as a child playing football my dad especially watching me home and away for the team I played for but this is so shocking and it happening right in front of there own kids eyes .

Seriously , this generation has a screw loose S , people seem to be regressing back to cave men

What example is this showing to the kids, they will be growing up thinking violence is normal , although i think we have missed the boat on that one

Terrible. Those poor kids having to witness such vulgar behaviour. I hope the kids had a sit down with the coaches together after and were told that behaviour isn’t acceptable and they shouldn’t follow in those footsteps

'Children see, children do' loads of kids now thinking that behaviour is acceptable. Makes me sick.

Well that's not a shock. It happens. We get parents fighting in the playground where I work. So yeah on the footy field really is no surprise

Oh and when people say kids are out of control, naughty worse then before. Rather then blame them. Look at the parents, it usually stems from how they are brought up

As someone with a child who plays football this doesn't surprise me one bit. Some of the parents take it far too seriously and will stand screaming like they're at a World Cup Final instead of a friendly game between 7 year olds.

Yes I have heard of ill tempered adults resorting to fighting in front of their children at a grass roots football match...My other half was a Referee , did all matches across the board...

I really didn’t like going to watch my son play football. It was always cold, a lot of the time he was on sub bench and then there were the awful parents thinking their child was the next Ronaldo.

What were these adults thinking? What a great example to show young children? I can’t believe parents would behave like this at a football game between such young kids. If you can’t control yourself around your young child, should they be in your care. I’m sure some of these kids have been traumatised seeing this. Disgraceful and unacceptable
