Medieval Festival, Colchester Castle, Great Day Out

Had a lovely day here today, weather was just right, everyone having a great time. Knights in armour, food stalls, medieval dancing and music. Even if you're not a history geek like me it was an enjoyable day out. Looking forward to the Roman festival in July.

Lynibis I loved history in school but now there missing parts for history like Winston Churchill my daughter didn't have a clue who he was

Leannexxx I must admit he doesn't feel like history to me as I remember his funeral, I was about 11. Even WWII doesn't seem like history to me but I love any history prior to the 1800s.
