A few that springs to mind are savoury mince served with mashed potato, you could turn that into a cobbler or even add dumplings. Meatballs either in a tomato sauce and serve with pasta and garlic bread or meatballs in gravy and served with mashed potato/chips and veg. Homemade burgers and you could also put some cheese in the middle of the burgers.

Lasagne, meatballs, burgers, burritos, tacos, chilli con carne, cottage pie (shepherd's pie is minced lamb). For me personally, it's burritos or chilli. Love Mexican food. You basically just need mince, rice, kidney beans, salsa, sour cream, guacamole cheese and tortillas. Fast, cheap, easy, but most importantly, delicious. Pro tip, cook the rice in stock for more flavour.

FearLoathing ohh they all sound great, and good tip with the stock, and yes I meant cottage pie not shepherds, lol I always say it the wrong way round and I've never got to the bottom of which one is supposed to have the cheese on top!!! Everyone seems to have a different opinion depending on where they are from abit like with scones jam or cream first?

My daughter does a lovely tex mex, which is really easy to make. Brown off the meat, add add 1 onion, 2 garlic cloves both chopped up. Add 2 tsp chilli powder and a tin of tomatoes. Simmer then add 400ml hot water and 200g of macaroni. Simmer and serve with grated cheese.

Make a bolognese using 1kg mince meat and bulk it out with chunky diced peppers. I use this to make a 9-12 portion lasagne 😃

Consumer I usually do a spag big spag bol and take half the browned mince and onions out before the tomato goes in for the cottage pie, so that's a great idea for me, I can just swop the pie for the lasagne, brilliant thankyou

Fry some vegs ( onions peppers garlic ) (buy frozen. You get more, its frozen but fresher than non frozen so it's also healthier)

Add seasonings ( salt pepper smoked paprika and chilli flakes.

Add mince meat and cook through.

Have plain dorrito chips plated and ready.

Whilst mince is cooking get burger cheese (this you'll have to gadge with how many you're feeding and how cheesey you like things) in a big bowl or cup. Add milk and mix. Warm up in microwave 1 minute at a time mix after every minute. Keep repeating until you get consistency you like.

When mince is cooked lay over the dorrito chips, pour over your home made nacho cheese (and Jalapeño Pepper for a little extra taste) and enjoy.

I do this for the family.

The kids love it as do the grownups.
