Missing Parcels

Ask a Question

This morning I opened the door to see delivery driver driving off. Amazon says my partners parcel is with a neighbour unfortunately we don't know which one 😕 is there an easy way to find out without asking everyone so far no luck finding it

Honestly no you wouldn't have to knock on the neighbours I would get in touch with Amazon myself and tell them your not happy and what your money back

Leannexxx I've told him to complain. One time we didn't get the mail back.

Honestly I'd just get straight in touch with amazon and tell them you haven't received it. Even if delivered to a neighbour they should know which one, not really your job to go round finding your own parcel

Can you track the delivery, sometimes you get a photo of the parcel and it's location, I.e shed, cupboard x

I got home on Thursday after being at work on a long shift then working til following afternoon to find the cat food partner had ordered just dumped on our step outside our front door in full view of passers by!!

To say I was fuming was an understatement...

Sometimes the delivery driver takes a photo of where they’ve left your parcel. Ask for that to be sent you and if you don’t recognise the door insist on a replacement.

Imnotcheap I’m pleased you found your parcel especially as you had already paid.

I would call, be nice (through gritted teeth 😬) and ask them if it's your responsibility to hunt down a parcel they delivered to an unknown neighbour (clearly the answer should be no) then ask them about next steps.

Where I am our local groups often have posts of people saying they have other people's mail. I've started leaving it outside and telling the post office to come get it and it's in the rain. As the local post office delivers most of ours. As its their mistake I make them sort it.

We usually get sent a picture it has been delivered, when it’s not in our porch we do have a walk around the village. Our road is similar to another road and many times they have delivered there. We finally managed to talk to our delivery Stefan and explained where we lived. No problems anymore.

It's not up to you to go looking for it, contact Amazon customer service and tell them you haven't had it delivered to you, they will refund

We've had parcels delivered to the neighbours before but it always tells us the house number when we check on our account. Hopefully you have found the parcel by now.
