If You Had the £ and space Would You Have a Separate Bathroom to Your Partner ?
Ask a Question
I am watching " Selling Beverley Hills" on Netflix, about estate agents seling incredible expensive homes, one of which was a 65 million dollar home, 7 bedrooms and 14 bathrooms. I thought why do they have so many bathrooms and realized that the super rich must not like sharing their bathrooms,
So, if you had the £ would you like your own bathroom.
Ps I wouldnt recommend this programme 5 minutes of stunning houses and the rest is just bad reality TV
My husband and I could technically have our own bathroom. We have the en-suite and the main bathroom. Means that if we have visitors they can have their own bathroom whilst they stay.
I think with those types of houses it is a status symbol. The more bedrooms and bathrooms the better.
MrsCraig It was a fantastic house, but it was just too big to be a home, looked like a 5* hotel, with huge rooms, that my whole house could fit in one room and they would still be space
We only have the one bathroom, which means we stagger getting ready.
beccatavender I've seen the type of house you mean, just not necessary in my opinion.
Before we moved we only had the one bathroom but with our son potty training it makes it slightly easier to have 2.
MrsCraig We do have a downstairs loo which makes all the difference
Nothing worst than needing the toilet and it being occupied.
A friend jokes that their next move would be to a pair of semis. Left one hers and you’ve guessed it the right one his.
Pjran This made we laugh, as it reminded me of an old Steptoe and son episode, where they divided the house, "Divided we Stand" it was so funny. I am not sure if you are old enough to remember it, but it is on YouTube.
I remember the scene where they divided the lounge but, could only see half the screen
beccatavender ...I am old enough to remember this episode & it's flock wallpaper in the Karzi!!
Part of my childhood these two!
No but I'd have a separate one to my kids. Icky grim little goblins are children. Don't get me wrong, I love them dearly but I love my bathroom too and a quiet bath is a long since forgotten memory
Yeh why not. Tho we have 3 bathrooms ready lol but there is so much I would do if we had the money.
I only share a bed with my partner twice a week because he works nights so I say it's my room away
Leannexxx ,same here, both Support Workers for same company under different Management & opposite ends of Sheffield!
I do a Sleep In,then he does one then I do one etc,we must sleep in the same room 2 or 3 times a week!
I would love one, however I wouldn't want 14! It would take so much effort cleaning but then I guess you'd be rich enough to hire a cleaner daily.
Midnightflower It was definitely a case of how the other half live, the rooms were huge. I thought how much does that cost to run plus how many steps do you have to do just to get from one room to another
