Music instruments can enrich our lives in many ways, and is a great way to get us off the screens!
When i was in primary school i had piano lessons and was learning violin but i did not keep either of them up which i regret a lot now. Really wish i had continued with the piano lessons
I played the guitar when I was younger with my dad, got into my teen years and decided it wasnt cool anymore.. regret that now I know how to play nothing!
I have been playing the guitar for over 40 years.I play the harmonica a little bit as well.
I can play the piano, violin and guitar. I don't get to play them anymore though as either far too busy or don't have the room for them.
I use to play guitar when I was little. A friend of the family taught me but when he moved away from where I lived I stopped. Started again at school when I was 11 but stopped again because the teacher wanted me to sing and I really can't sing! Bought a guitar many years ago as a adult but never really played because of problems with neighbors. Hopefully one day I might be able to play again. I agree it really is good to be able to play a musical instrument. Really makes you feel good and a great way to express yourself.
I learned to play the drums growing up, I still play them every now and then, but not as much as I use too
I can play 'pease pudding hot' on the recorder! Like many adults I do regret not being interested in playing an instrument as a child. I just couldn't translate all those crotchets and quavers from paper to the actual instrument. I have huge admiration for orchestra members. Look up Hauser on YouTube...incredible!
Tin Whistle at the Irish Social Centre in Sheffield with my younger sister on a Sunday morning when we were young...
We loved going as we were treated to crisps & pop!
As a kid I could play recorder, clarinet and violin, haven't played in years though. Lost interest in playing alot though did get a cheap guitar it's sat in the corner of the room waiting to be played
I first started on the lovely recorder, followed by piano lessons at home. As an adult I continued playing the piano at home. My youngest is the musician in our family, she taught herself drums, guitar, piano, ukulele Plus she sings. She uploads herself playing on Tik tok.
