Nano Robots Injected into the Body.
In the News
Scientists have just announced that they can inject nanobots into the human body so as to encourage ,enhance and enable advanced medical healing. I suppose if it saves lives, then people will be naturally overjoyed but I cannot easily dispense of the somewhat colourful thought of an army of mini robots traipsing around my insides all up to devilment and shenanigans. How do we all feel about this?

PhilipMarc Yes .It's transhumanism on the march perhaps.God made us well I agree. It's a shame we make such a wreck of things..says she filling her face with tango and chocolate lol.
Well I believe humanity is a result of 100s of millions of years of evolution tailored to their environment and I feel humanity only has a basic biological understanding of its itself so worry about any unpredicted side effects of doing this. If it was life saving or life extending I would definitely consider it but I feel cautious about the technology.
BonzoBanana I consider myself to be a progressive thinker but this even scares me a little.I think science outruns ethics at times.Lets hope it augers good.
I’ve got incurable cancer - so yeah why not give it a go. I would rather that i am the guinea pig than my kids !
suevernon1968 I am so sorry to hear that, and definitely in your situation I would accept this option.
Lynibis well - I shouldn’t have survived this long so everything from here on is a gift. I would much rather stuff be tested on me and maybe give others a chance to survive longer. If it wasn’t for medical research and people agreeing to go on clinical trials I would have been gone a long time ago x
Medical research astounds me. I have a treatment called phesgoe’. It used to entail me sitting with a cannula in my arm for over three hours. This wont cure me but touch wood it has stopped the tumours i have left from increasing in size or number. I have this every three weeks - but now - its a sub-cutaneous (into the fat which i have plenty of lol) into my thigh and takes just 8 minutes. To me it’s absolutely amazing - it means that I dont take up as much of the nurses time as I used to so more patients can be treated. Every time I think about it I am just astounded at how our researchers do so much in the back ground that we never get to hear of. So I say yeah - anything new around the corner- bring it on !
Um no nope not a chance. It's a step to far if you ask me. No way would I go for thus and anyone would be nuts to agree to it
Jerseydrew Many people thinking along the same lines the same as you I am sure.
I have a rare blood clotting disorder, I've had 6 clots in 8 years, every day is a worry of having another, if this could help me I would have it
