Nappy Bins
Ask a Question
I read mixed reviews about nappy bins... some of them broke after few uses, some of them doesn't stop the smell... I found some good deals on Amazon but now I'm debating if it's worth to buy one or not? What are your experiences? Did you buy one or not?
I got a Nappy bin and couldn't work it just ended up using a bin with a lid and keeping dettol spray nearby
Imnotcheap that's my concern... since the bins are around £10 plus refills over £20 to pay that for something useless... I think your idea is much better I think that's what I'm gonna do instead toothanks for that
Total waste of space . Get a Hi Tech Nappy soaking biological immersion Smart Device (bucket with a lid ! ) and add detergent of your preferred flavour/smell .
Served millions of families for hundreds of years .
Invent something totally useless (and costly ) market it to snowflake mugs and trouser the proceeds , easy money !
They are very expensive so I just buy happy bags with fragrance and I throw aways the nappies the same day
I personally think they are a waste of money and space! We just put them in a nappy bag then into a bin with a lid and then they go outside each night.
I also think they are a waste of money. I never had one with my little boy. I literally just popped any soiled nappies in the outside bin and wet ones in the kitchen bin which we empty most days. These companies know that new mummies want whatever would make our lives easier so they thrive from any of these products. Whatever you choose, good luck with the baby
Mummy18 thank you I wasnt thinking of getting one... it's a first baby to my hubby so he wants everything.. I was curious of others opinions on it since I keep telling that we dont need all the stuff he wants to buy...so I'm feeling like a bad cop
Mummy18 it is exciting but he doesn't want to listen to voice of reasonI already gave in with him buying several sets of clothes...some of them are short sleeves when baby will be born next week...
I haven’t bought one yet - don’t think I will, purely because of the cost of the refills... if you use individual nappy bags, I can’t imagine it’s necessary
sarahgreen15 I suppose for someone who lives in a flat and has only small bin that might be useful.. I would need two of them - one upstairs and one downstairs to be useful but yes disposable nappies all add up anyway and for the refills which goes to the bin its even more...I seen plenty selling on fb market...
The refills are quite expensive. I didn’t buy one just used a bin with a lid and made sure I cleaned it regularly. Far too many other expensive with a baby to be worrying about the refill expenses
I've got 5 children. With my 1st i bought one. Waste of money in my opinion. It's just as easy to pop nappy in a nappy sack and put it in the bin. Doesn't smell if bag tied correctly.
