Are There More National Days Every Year ?
Ask a Question
Is it just me, but does there seem to be more National Days, this week alone there was National Earth Day and today is National Tea Day !
I am not complaining as they are normally attached to a promotion, but I don't remember growing up as these being a thing.
Now we have National Fish and Chip Day - NEODA , National Chocolate Day to name but a few
What is your favourite? Mine is National Chocolate Day an excuse to eat chocolate!
Yes, I think you are right. There seems to be one every day for something. Maybe we need a deal hunter day
Yes, there are far too many.
Apparently, Tuesday 24th April is National Pigs in a Blanket Day, New Kids on the Block Day, National Brandon Day (for people called Brandon), Scream Day, National Skipping Day + more (nationaltoday.com/april-24-holidays/)
Although, Beer Day Britain, a.k.a. National Beer Day, on June 15 is one to add to the diary - it should be a Bank Holiday (June 16 should be National Hangover Day) - nationaltoday.com/beer-day-britain/
I never heard of so many Holidays while growing up until recently. I only remember the normal National Holidays. Simple times back then.
They are definitely a new thing as I don't remember them growing up. There are lots of them now, but I don't really pay attention to them. The only time I notice them is if there is a competition to do with them.
