Bingeworthy Series on Netflix?
Ask a Question
Hi everyone. I'm running out of Netflix series to watch. Anyone has some recommendations? So far I watched - Dynasty, Poldark, The Order, Working moms, Rupaul's drag race, Killing Eve... I like all sorts not just one type of stuff Have a lovely day
blacklabrador I really liked you but the ending to last season was a bit disappointing to me...clearly very open to next season..
jurgita0712 True, I was also slightly disappointed it had moved from New York to California.
Still a good watch though.
blacklabrador it was. But it gets kinda boring that he gets out of it all dry. Even when he was caught with headphones... and now his rich girlfriend can make it all go away..
blacklabrador loved good girls and Ozark. Not seen the others but you seem to have similar taste to me so I'll take a look at them. Thanks
Season 4 of Good Girls has just been pout on Netflix and loving it, I remember binge watching the first 3 seasons, cant wait to watch season 4
Chelsea0121 I'm about to start season 4 - sadly it looks like it's going to be the last one
jyotzy didnโt you think the last one of Good Girls was a bit likeโฆโฆโฆ WHAT THE HELL JUST HAPPENED!!!!!???????
MandeeMayson I was really disappointed with it.
I kept saying "how can a show that was so good for 3 seasons, suddenly be this poor"
MandeeMayson didn't find season 4 as good as the first three. First series was deffo my fave so far.
blacklabrador I've read some a lot of comments and loads are recommending Good Girls ill deffo give that a start sometime this week .
This topic comes up regularly so if you want to find many suggestions do a search above using key words (Netflix, Amazon, binge watching series, recommendations etc) and you will find loads, at least 4 pages worth.
Lynibis thank you. I didnt know that. I will definitely have a look. Though I don't rate Amazon prime watch because it's mostly old stuff and last time I tried to watch something the sound was very low.
Lynibis I went through all the posts and some of them have 0 comments. So really I haven't found anything new there...
jurgita0712 I think the reason some have no comments may be because the topic is posted so often. But I am surprised as I have never seen one of these topics without any comments at all, were you searching chat or another section? Did you click on the link I gave you above, as that has 2 pages of suggestions with pictures, reviews and loads of comments.
Lynibis I typed in Netflix. And some of posts have 0 comments. On the link you provided there's quite a few on BBC iplayer or TV series. I dont watch TV because it doesn't connect to my TV. I only wanted to see if there was anything I havent seen on Netflix yet.
Some other series I seen and enjoyed:
Atypical
Good Girls
Sex education
Umbrella academy
Stranger things
Good place
Locke&key
Stranger
Orange is the new black
Altered carbon
Grace & Frankie
Brooklyn nine nine
G0501 I haven't yet thank you I will have a look. Maybe I should read few of his books
Iโve just started watching poldark - ozark, queen of the south and sweet magnolias are good
jurgita0712 you are welcome - let me know how you get on if you watch and like any of them
I don't think it is particularly bloody but personally I found it hard to follow as it seemed very disjointed and going back and forth in time. I watched a few just to look at Henry and his flowing locks!
KatieBlue I must admit I also couldn't get on with Britannia, it was so over the top and modern music meant I just couldn't take it seriously, although I suppose you weren't meant to.
I am a bit of a literal, logical person so I like things to be as true to life as possible and hence love stuff like Medici, Borgias, Vikings, Last Kingdom etc.
laraquinn88 I absolutely loved first season. But last one... every time you think they will get him and obviously he gets out dry... I want to see him getting in trouble for once
I've been told that this show is really good by a few people, it will be deffo on my next to watch list.
We loved Ozark, Orphan Black, Rake, You, Line of Duty, Orange is the New Black, Making a Murderer, The Sinner... theres so many!
Orange is the new black, took me forever to get into the first season but once the second season started I couldn't stop.
I just started watching this and found it really interesting. Didn't think I would be getting into it at first but its really good.
I recently watched all 3 series of Toast of London over 3 nights. I only caught a few episodes when it originally shown on Channel 4 - Yes I Can Hear You Clem Fandango
It's a comedy series starring Matt Berry. It's follows the many tribulations of the character Steven Toast, an actor that mainly works on stage or recording voice overs.
Dark is a must watch, 3 season, is a mystery and revolves around time travelling. Itโs just brilliant!
Bluefish I'll let you know if you havent watched it yet I did like Locke&key and altered carbon. They both sci fi and I did like the idea in altered carbon about replacing your body
Benidorm is on Netflix, I've watched it through a few times now. I really enjoyed the show when the Garvey family were on. Wasn't a big fan of the Dykes or the Dawson tbh.
How to get away with murder, Sinner, Terrace house, Homeland, After life, our planet. There are so many currently available, it's difficult to remember them all. I suppose it just depends on what types of things you like to watch. There are a fair few food/cooking shows on netflix at the minute too- some are very bingeworthy but again it just depends what interests you. Some excellent recommendations on this thread. Thank you for posting
LouiseBurt89585 exactly that's the thing there is a lot but then I have Netflix for years and seen most of it since I don't watch tvand then you can't even remember what its called I used to love masterchef, Jamie Oliver etc. But as you say now there's so many cooking ones I just got bored with itI watched first in fashion where they invited designers from everywhere to design clothes but second season has been cancelled. Sometimes it takes a while to "find something to watch"
