How to Get Netflix USA?
Other
Does anybody know how to get the American version of Netflix? A couple of my friends know how to get onto it but I can never work out how, no matter how many tutorials I watch lol!
Ask the friends to show you? I didn't even know it was different to ours as there are many programmes both British and American along with loads of other foreign made programmes. I watched a great dubbed series recently called Cathedral by the Sea, it was Spanish I think.
American version of Netflix is way better from what I've heard as they've got practically everything on there including all the Harry Potter films and the newer ones about Newt Scamander. They don't even have the first Harry Potter of UK Netflix yet. I'm hoping Netflix step up their game. You can get yourself a VPN which can be cheap depending on which one you go for and you can then change your settings on Netflix and pretend your in America to get their Netflix.
The link below will explain the full process - as already mentioned you will need to use a VPN. A question often asked is "is it legal?" The answer apparently is "yes it is legal" https://www.techadvisor.com/how-to/entertainment/watch-american-netflix-uk-3656484/
I made an account on iTunes France because the soundtrack I wanted to buy wasn't avail on iTunes US/UK (copyright reasons). Was that legal? No, not really, but no one's gonna knock on your door because of it.
Same goes for accessing other Netflix branches.
We have a VPN network that we can change to a US time zone, that worked for us in the past but haven’t had time to log it in for a while now.
US Time Zone? You mean an American city?
A VPN is about connecting to a virtual/residential IP, not a time zone.
PhilipMarc yes we changed our VPN to a USA city, east coast has a different time zone to west coast. We have a VPN box, can change to anywhere in the world.
We have had a VPN for 10 years, you can use it to set a network to a different country, not just for security features of a private residential network.
We have this: https://www.invizbox.com/
You need a VPN in order to access that. If you want a cheap solution, go with Windscribe's Build A Plan for $2 per month ($1 location + $1 unlimited bandwidth) about £17 yearly. Otherwise, you have monthly plans, but that'll cost you about £36 per year (it includes plenty of locations in Europe, Americas, Asia and Africa).
That's my go-to VPN, anyway. I've been using them for a few years now and very satisfied.
PhilipMarc vpn really confuses me you seem to know your stuff what is a good basic one for watching football on us channels
In that case, you don't need a VPN, but an IPTV. It's basically pirated live TV channels from all over the world. Think you can buy an IPTV on eBay.
I don't care for Live TV although sports' fans find it very useful as it's cheaper.
Plus, there are free Android apps to watch live sports' channels, like HD Streamz. Some streams work, some don't.
