Netflix...what Not to Watch
Ask a Question
I know we've had a fantastic thread about what's great on Netflix right now but what have you watched recently that you wish you hadn't.
For me, it's Echoes...very odd and not the best acting. I'm sure the book must have been better lol
Well, everyone will hate and love different things but if something doesn't grab me by end of first episode I will not waste more time on it.
Netflix soared its subscription prices again. I'm not subscribed to them, but if I were I'd either cancel my sub or pay via the Turkish NF (£4ish/pm).
YouTube, Tubi, and radio stations do me fine, honestly.
All those years that I paid for the TV License and never actually watched BBC nor Live TV, I kind of felt like I was scammed. I'll never pay for it again, that's for sure.
Where I do begin. I used to always find something good to watch but now have a hard time finding something new and interesting. I find the films very slow and same storylines that you know exactly what is going to happen.
I recently tried to watch a documentary about a cult over in America. The trailer looked absolutely brilliant, really interesting. Couldn't get through the first 20 minutes, had to turn it off. I can't remember the name of it now as it was a few months back, but it was awful.
Think I'm finding that Netflix and other creators are dragging out their content with boring stuff that would have normally been edited, pre covid x
I'm not saying its bad but Matt Groaning's animation comedy series for Netflix called Disenchantment is I feel not in the same class as the Simpsons or Futurama. I was expecting a bit more and the humour is much more hit and miss. I've watched about 4 episodes so far and its a bit mediocre but both the Simpsons and Futurama started their series with brilliant early episodes.
