Hey Deal Hunters!

You can soon hide retailers and categories

To personalise the homepage you can now hide retailers and categories.

You can hide a retailer or a category from your user profile settings on the Latest Deals website.

This feature is rolling out steadily. You may not be able to see it yet.

What happens when you hide a retailer?

You will no longer see deals, vouchers, and freebies from that retailer on the homepage (website and app).

What happens when you hide a category?

You will no longer see deals, vouchers, and freebies in that category. Note, it is the member who writes the post that selects the category choice.

Don't like a retailer? Hide it!

Imagine you don't like deals from a particular shop. You can now use this feature to hide those deals.

For example, perhaps you don't shop at a certain supermarket. Or maybe you don't have membership to a website. Or maybe you've had a bad shopping experience and never want to shop there again!

Don't like a category? Hide it!

Perhaps you don't want to see kids deals. Maybe you're not interested in fashion. Or you don't like video games.

With Hide you can now personalise your home page to your tastes.

Hide digital freebies like apps and games

Most digital freebies for apps and games come from the Google store. So you could hide Google (.com) as the retailer and poof! All those app freebies and free games are gone.

Can I still post a deal for a retailer I've hidden?

Yes, you can. It will still show on your profile and your dashboard. Other members will see it as normal. It just may not show on the homepage for you.

Can others see what retailers and categories I've hidden?

No, your selections are private to you.

How do I unhide a retailer or category?

You can unhide a retailer or a category from your user profile settings.

Why am I still seeing deals for a hidden retailer or category elsewhere?

You may still see deals for a hidden retailer or category outside of the homepage. For example, you may still see them when playing Rate, on your profile and dashboard, Search results, price comparison, Flash, and on the retailer page itself. Hide is only intended to remove them from the homepage (popular and newest).
