New Cola Jaffa Cake Flavour Available at More Supermarkets, Will You Try It ?

Ask a Question

My motto is 'If it ain't broken , don't fix it ' , so why mess around with the flavours of the jaffa cake ?

Sure, McVitie's have offered other flavours besides the original orange, such as raspberry and blackcurrant , raspberry i quite liked

But the latest flavour , Cola Bottle flavour, just does not appeal to me

The Jaffa cake is iconic to the UK, like digestive or rich tea , you don't see anyone changing these, or at least as far as i know , unless they are adding a coating of chocolate which to me is acceptable

What do you think, should they let the Jaffa be or continue to experiment changing the recipe ?

Sounds delish. I have yet to try the cherry ones. However, I don't like dark chocolate, too bitter, so would love it if they did milk chocolate versions. Digestives come in both.

Not a chance. I used to eat the italian version of jaffa cakes, cherry flavour. However since I went right off of chocolate I'm not such a fan. I don't mind some of the expensive chocolate as it doesn't have that waxy taste to it.

EmmaWright762 They should bring out a deluxe version with a good quality chocolate E

telmel Now that is a brilliant idea. Could you imagine, decent Jaffa Cakes, maybe at Christmas or for special occassions. I would definitely be buying those. Especially if they did cherry or better yet amaretti flavour. WOW

EmmaWright762 I love Lidls deluxe range of goods , they used to do a pizza around christmas topped with nuts, one of the best shop bought i have ever tasted , so lets hope McVitie's take note , if not a luxury range , maybe just a special edition

To be honest this flavour appeals to me a lot more than blackcurrant or raspberry flavours. I’m interested to try the cola jaffa cakes and will be on the lookout for them
