It felt like only yesterday when I watched the documentary on Netflix, and now it’s announced they are doing an 8 episode series!
Nicholas Cage is a good choice - he is a bit of a nutter in real life, so he’ll easily be Joe Exotic
Who do you think could play Carole? Or his lovers?
madness! I am sure it will be compelling viewing. Perhaps get someone like susan sarandon to play Carole? And for some reason I can see Jared Leto as at least one lover (thinking the fight club version of him)

Wow. I bet Joe would love that. Not normally a fan of things like Gogglebox but would love a version where they had all the "characters" from Tiger King watching actors play them...
Unfortunately, this miniseries is no longer going to be made. Which is a shame, as I would have liked to have seen Nicholas Cage play the lager than life Joe Exotic. Amazon Video executives believe 'it's no longer relevant', but I'd say seeing Cage in a blonde mullet, hugging a tiger and singing would pique viewers interest.
Yes it’s a shame. Oh well, I’m sure Mr Cage will be playing someone just as wacky as Joe Exotic in the near future
