personally love the mixed roots chips. Just as easy as any other oven chips. very tasty too. No so bothered with sweet potato fries - but having said that we have some in the freezer at the moment just to make a change.

I've tried strong roots, sweet potato chips. And they were absolutely disgusting 🤮. Never again. Not had the McCain ones. I know I won't be having any sweet potatoes, anytime soon

SalmaS Did you get the strong roots for free? I did and have many bags in my freezer. We cooked some the other night, my husband enjoyed them but eats most things. My daughter and I found them very sweet and could only eat a few. I may mix them with normal chips next time.

Sarahvwomble We had them on the Green Jinn shopping app and allowed us to get bags from different stores.

eyeballkerry yep, got them through green jinn. I found them sickly sweet. We did make ours with normal chips, but still couldn't enjoy it. Never again, we all hated them.

Love sweet potato fries, pretty easy to make from scratch as well. Sweet potatoes are fairly cheap as well

jms19 ...I buy a couple of Sweet Potatoes when out daughter's home from University every few month..

I chop them into Wedges, drizzle whatever oil & flavours take my fancy, mix & leave to infuse then tip on to a baking tray, spread them out,put them in the oven 20 min & enjoy them with Salmon or something else..

Sweet Potatoes are healthy..x

We make sweet potato fries from scratch occasionally for a change. Very easy to make. Haven't had frozen sweet potato fries in years. I just used to buy the supermarket own make.

Sweet potato is absolutely yummy! Definitely a fan of it myself and I don’t mind the mixed variety, but sweet potato is the tastiest

I buy Tyrrells Veg Crisps With Sea Salt from Waitrose as a treat. They’re delicious and the packet goes very quickly.
