Why isn't My Oculus Quest 2 Charging?

I recently received a refurbed quest 2 but it didn’t come with a charging cable so I am using my own. Got it plugged into a laptop but the charging light does not come on at all, am I doing something wrong? I’ve read you should see a light (red/yellow/green) on the headset while it’s charging
Have you tried another cable? Or connect it to a wall switch other than your laptop USB port?
The original Oculus charging cable is different from phone ones. Idk the technical term for it but it's 2 small usb ends as opposed to a small and a bigger end. I'll try and get a picture of my charger for you
Thanks but yeah I tried with a brand new usb-c cable like the one you have there and no joy. Will see if there’s something on YouTube
