How Often Do You Clean Your Car?

So my husband and I share a car (I work from home so we don’t have any need for two cars). I haven’t been well, so haven’t driven in months. I would normally take the car once a week to get washed, and every other month for a valet. Seems he hasnt done neither! He never realised how often I took it, and is clearly blind to the dirt lol
The family car is my husband’s domain, he wouldn’t let me anywhere near with a wet sponge, but I’m happy with that. He drives it, he fills up, he paid for it, he pays all the bills for it so he washes it. I love being chauffeured around.

PayItForward I am lucky my husband enjoys driving and I don’t. He is a terrible passenger. I drove once, years ago, we had only got around the corner and we had to swap. He was already fiddling with the glove box.

When car needs anything doing I pay half as partner pays Household bills.
janphoenix51 Wow, this is exactly the same here, husband pays for car and I pay for the cats. All five cats by the way.

I'm lucky as my partner always cleans our cars, he actually enjoys doing them and finds it therapeutic.
TiaTia I wish my husband loved cleaning the car. I maybe have a bit of ocd with cleaning. I don’t physically clean it myself as I’m afraid of scratching it, but I would take it to the local car wash guys to do

I used to get my car cleaned when I had the time or left with guys whilst I shopped . Love when they painted the tyres and make the alloys sparkle .
Once a week but this is done by my husband which is he is happy to do. He too takes care of all the car related items.I do all the cooking which I prefer to do.
The car is rarely washed but he does clean the windows so he can see where he’s driving.
I've told my oh he needs to clean the car. He doesn't. I do most the shopping and most tge housework
Don't think my wife has ever cleaned out car, I have always took it as my responsibility, I'd normally do it once a month, kids wash it, I do the inside
Never Its well overdue! Its a bit of a mess at the moment but a car for me just gets me around, Its not a prize possession at all! I definitely need to get it washed and valeted though..
My partner gets in the car to get to A to B then forgets about it. He uses it more than me, I have to clean up any rubbish and dust it when I get in as he doesn't seem to see it 
I can't complain he is a pretty perfect partner, this is just one annoyance. He did wash the outside last time though by himself and I vacuumed it out.
I saw a cute 'hack' (sorry if you hate that term!) but people but silicone cupcake wrappers in the drinks holders in their car, so it catches most debris and dirt in it, so you only have to swap them out, clean them and put them back again. Saves trying to vacuum and clean the annoying cup holder spaces.

We use our car a lot so we clean it weekly on the weekend so it's nice and fresh for the next week. It usually gets messy from our children and our dog so we need to keep on top of it. Once a month we go to a car wash and get it cleaned professionally.
The cars in my household get washed and hovered every week as I like to take the dog to the beach and I go to the stables so I like the cars to be clean inside and out
