One Pill Could Add Years to the Life of Your Dog , Would You Try It ?
In the News
This sounds like promising news
The Dog Ageing Project, based in Washington, is testing whether the human drug rapamycin can help our dogs live longer
Researchers say early tests in rats, mice and dogs show the drug slows the aging process
Not only good news for dogs, but this could also be adapted to humans to extend our lives
I wouldn't want to live longer. It's too difficult even now and only going to get worse as I get older. It would be good for dogs but only if there not going to suffer or be in pain.
KAW18 I totally agree with you. Plus should we be mucking about with science in this way. Medicine has been doing this for years to extend peoples lives but is this always a good thing?
But where would everyone live? There's no point living longer when you have no planet to live on! They really need to get their priorities right.
