Do You Do an Online or Instore Supermarket Shop for Xmas?
Ask a Question
When it comes to the big Christmas food shop, do you like to order online to beat the queues or do you prefer to get into a shop and pick the best dates, best looking stock available?
We always go into the shops to buy food, as we like to choose our own items see what is on offer and whats new and pick up bargains that they don't necessarily have online ie store specific items, reduced items etc . We also tend to alternate between different stores. Asda this week , Tesco next etc
Online don't buy all the fancy food that they sell at Xmas and only do a normal shop they only closed for a day
A bit of both, bottles of drink, frozen bits, chocolates, etc online. Veg and fruit I like to go into the shop and pick.
With supermarkets being open 24 hours I prefer to do it in-store and going to several different ones
I prefer to buy presents for Christmas or any other occassion in-store as I know exactly what I am buying.
I always use shops as someone said below you can often find in store only offers, Also they probably would get substituted online for a more expensive product or another product of less quality.
