Do People Overuse Labels to Describe Others?

Do you think people overuse words to label other people. Its usually words such as toxic, red flag, narcissist... I feel like a lot of people (mainly online) use these words too liberally and I wonder if they understand that easily misusing words can be damaging.
I think people that do this are narcissists with toxic personalities, it is always a red flag to me.
No I think we are in a better position to understand people and because people talk more openly online people are more likely to describe situations going on around them
I say what I want when I want if people don't like it ,it's on them as long as I'm not rude about it I don't see the issue but then again alot of people don't like hearing others opinions
