So Police Aren't To Follow Suspects In Fear Of Riots?

Those boys were going at speed on the road, I thought it illegal to take those electric scooters on the road. My sympathies are with both families.

I agree. It's really sad that there lost there lives and I really feel for the family's. But in most cases young people on scramble bikes are not wearing helmets, don't have insurance or licence and not even old enough to have these, speeding and riding on the pavement or public footpaths. I've nearly been hit with one. The police need to do more not less.

So so sad that these young lads have lost their lives.

But unfortunately actions have consequences, silly illegal actions more so.

I think we need to wait for the full facts before making a judgement. At the moment it's seems as though the police aren't being truthful and two young boys have tragically died. Which I think is more than likely escalated the situation.

The ebike in question was going at some speed with two people on it and neither were peddling. There is no question this was a highly illegal vehicle and their riding of it was a criminal act and they could easily have killed pedestrians and cyclists if they collided with them. These were horrible selfish kids who didn't have any regard for others. I personally think the police should always pursue people committing illegal acts that risk killing and injuring others. What on earth were the parents doing to allow this and how did they afford such an expensive off-road powerful ebike and not monitor how it was used?

Sometimes you hear of joyriders killing innocent people and sometimes you hear of them killing themselves and I personally prefer the latter of the options.

The fact people would riot because criminals killed themselves when pursued by police just staggers the mind. It makes Cardiff seem like a morally bankrupt area. It is horrible that they died of course but it could so easily have been innocent people that died.

I'm now seeing information online that no bus was involved they simply lost control at speed and hit a lamp post. Such was the speed of the impact they were both killed. This could have so easily been pedestrians who were walking along the pavement.
