Poorly Thought out Web Sites

Other

I have long been a member of the GFK Media View web site and have had plenty of small Amazon vouchers over the years. This month they are changing their points system so we have to use up our points over the next couple of weeks or we loose them. OK fair enough if the new system works better but they make it so difficult to enter the prize draw. You have to select [Use 900 points to enter draw] then it waits for up to 20 seconds before confirming you have entered the draw. If you want to 'spend' another 900 points and enter again you have to go through the same process. Why do they make it so time consuming - why cant we select how many points to spend in one go? Its going to take me a long time to use up the just under 200000 points! I did mention this to them a few years ago and got the usual thank you for your feedback response. At least Latest deals are always looking to improve and actually act on our feedback. Just a shame other sites cant do the same. Anyone else have web sites that really annoy them by making life more difficult than it needs to be? Rant over - have a good weekend everyone! Image

I have found council web sites are atrocious. Searches usually can't find even obvious things like bank holiday bin collections and this weekend I am attending a medieval fayre at Colchester castle but can't find any specific info about what will be there, just times, parking and ticket prices with a few archive photos thrown in.

I hate websites that are not fit for purpose, it’s ok if there are alternatives but as already pointed out, council and government websites are bad. The worst thing is in those cases you know someone has been paid a lot of money to design and maintain it but they are still usually terrible
