Cannon vs. HP: Which Printer is Best for a Home Office?

Ask a Question

Which is better - Cannon or HP for a very basic printer for home use only? Reasonable price.

Must be compatible with either an iphone 7 and/or a fairly basic Chromebook.

Depends what you actual want to do with your printer as generally the higher the price you pay the more features but for a basic home use printer, The HP Plus DeskJet 2710e seems a good buy around £37 from Argos, Curry's or Amazon , it uses instant ink so you need to pay a subscription ( prices from 99p) to HP each month who will automatically send you more ink before you run out

With printers the initial cost is only a small fraction of what you might end up paying. Make sure you research how much the ink cartridges cost and how long they last cause that’s where the money goes.
