You would think producing a remake of Snow White would be a joy for all young families and bring back nostalgia for the older generation
But you would be wrong, enter political correctness and the remake looks doomed to fail or if not to have major changes
There are rows about sexism, using seven dwarfs as in the original, and snow white being white,
Even Rachel Zegler, who takes the lead role has said she “hated” the original 1937 film calling it , “weird” accusing Prince Charming of being a stalker , kissing a girl in a coma and not giving consent
They have even dragged politics into it , as Rachel Zegler is an outspoken advocate for Palestinian rights and Gal Gadot, who plays the Evil Queen, is a high-profile Israeli actor, so there is conflict over Gaza there
What is wrong with people today ???
Can't they just accept things as they are , its a children's film for crying out loud
If you look deeply enough into any film you could find fault and some reason to alter or even worse ban it
This must be a directors nightmare !
What else will they change ??

Yes I've seen all the drama about it. If Rachel zegler hated the original so much why agree to the remake? Yes prince charming kissing snow white in a coma is wrong and creepy but for the era the film was made it was acceptable not necessarily right. It's a talking point but so is the whole story of snow white. The whole don't take food off strangers. Same as consent you can use snow white as a ralking point. But it's also a film

, but i prefer it being the apple as it has more relevence to adam and eve
telmel apple is mire believable as you see a pizza snd think what's wrong with it. See an apple you know it's harder to poison people ir in theory it is
This has been going on for a long time and they have now remade the trailer, changed a lot of the film and characters and I am thinking it will be a flop if it ever gets released. I googled the following:
Only one actor with dwarfism will appear in the movie, with Pirates of the Caribbean star Martin Klebba playing Grumpy. The remaining dwarf characters will reportedly be played by six diverse, non-dwarf actors of various genders and ethnicities which take their cues from German folklore.
They also say SW is the boss, getting the 'non dwarves' cleaning the house where she did it in the original in return for them helping her.
Im not gonna bother watching this one sick of all the snowflakes moaning about everything if you don't like it don't watch it ffs I wouldn't even mind but the dwarf actors have come out kicking off because they was expecting to work on this film and it was taken away from them they need to earn a living too
It's sad that Disney has gone down the woke road, I don't think classic films should be remade anyway
That's still happening? I thought Rachel Zegler killed it and buried it.
I do very much want to watch this remake:
I hope Prince Charming leaves Snow White in a coma at the end of the remake to avoid possible criminal prosecution and scandal for the character. Plus, kissing this snowflake may cause her to melt. Not impressed by the trailer, looks like typical modern Hollywood nonsense.
