Be Proud. Tell Us What You Have Achieved or Take Pride in Having Done.

Can't say i have done anything to brag about but i did serve in the WRNS and over many decades have become a bit of a History buff.
Let us know what you take pride in during your time on earth.
On July 16 I decided to go to church (Anglican) and I actually enjoyed just being there and listen to the priest, so at the end I asked to borrow a Bible and he gave me one (well, two 1x normal size, and 1x mini). I feel it's changing me for the better to become a real Christian than just in name only (the type who say they are, yet never go to church).
Furthermore, this all happened because of a girl I'm online dating with as she's a devout Christian so I intend on being the same.
By the way, I'm so glad President Trump survived the attempted assassination I'd have honestly cried if he died. Lord God saved him from death.
PhilipMarc same as those who have christenings for their babies, yet have never gone to church or ever intend to go again, what is the point of that, another proud Christian here brother, I have gone to church every Sunday for as long as I can remember
PhilipMarc that's good to hear Philip. I too am a Christian and had full immersion baptism when I was 29. I haven't been to church for a very long time as I can't find a comfortable one, if you understand. Lots more I could add but I won't.
I take pride in the small things that I have achieved. I take pride in my son and what he has overcome. I take pride in the fact that I have worked hard to save and make over payments on my mortgage. I take pride in my job and the difference it makes.
I think you probably have lots to brag about.
I take pride in my work, but most proud of my son and what he has achieved despite years when his autism caused us all so many problems. He is a lovely lad and just today he landed himself his first job - a paid apprenticeship at a local IT company. He did it all himself - found and applied for the job without even mentioning it to us until late the night before the interview. It was his second ever interview so did really well. Couldn't get much prouder.
didbygraham congratulations to him, that is wonderful to hear. It is so lovely to hear when parents are proud of their children.
I am blessed with my 3 son's and being married to my wife . The pleasure my son's bring us makes me proud each and everyday .My youngest is due to start year 11 and doing his exams ,my middle son has just become a qualified chef and I know I am biased but his cooking is pure culinary food heaven .My eldest has just completed his 1st year at University and last but not least my wonderful and amazing wife shows me absolute love each day and I am so blessed to be married to her .
stuartsmith544 that is so wonderful to hear when it seems so many families these days are dysfunctional and don't know how to receive or give love. Long may it continue into your old age, you are indeed blessed.
Mine is not as profound as the ones I've read here. I completed one of those up in the air assault courses recently. I would be fibbing if I said I enjoyed every minute at the time but now it's over I am proud I managed it.
Auntielettie that is an extremely authentic thing to feel proud of. If something is difficult or a bit scary to do then pride in doing it rises in my estimation. We can all do the easy things, well done.
My proudest achievement is my children, my older kids have all been good respectful kids, never been on trouble, all working in good jobs, my youngest however are a nightmare lol
martinlufc5637 get the older ones to have a word lol. My sons are 48 and 50 and I am so proud that they love and respect me for raising them alone after a childhood with an abusive father/husband. The older has two kids both with first degrees with honour, one with a masters with distinction, the other grandson is 15 and doing well at school. None have given me trouble and I am proud of them all. I feel for parents whose kids turn out wrong'uns. I am also proud they are still with first and only wives, well over 20 years despite my divorce.
I don't really have anything. Except I'm always caring and respectful. I never play mind games like most people. I'm also proud of my art work I'm doing more of it now as it makes me feel good.
