Pub Launches Fish and Chip PIZZA , Would You Give It a Go ?

Most people love fish and chips and many a pizza
Now you can get them both combined
The Devonshire Arms in the village of Middle Handley in Derbyshire has just started offering this to its' customers at £16 a go
It seems expensive but the pizzas are big
Would you give this a try or just stick to the conventional offerings seperately ?

Yes I would definitely try this I love to try different food lol we went to a German beer and pizza place once and the had a friend egg pizza on menu so I got that lol everyone was looking at it lol
I like both of these things but together I don’t think i would enjoy that especially at £16 a go.
kate1310 I would probably try one just to see what all the fuss is about K
But i don't think they are good for your health on a regular basis
I suppose you could try it at home if you have a deep fat fryer, just make a batter mix to coat it
And there is a healthier version of it now, well , slightly healthier, air fried mars bar
They will sell a few of these purely based on novelty value. I'd rather stick to eating them separately

seasider71 You never know S, look how the deep fried mars bars took off after starting as a novelty, 28 years later they are still going strong
telmel I believe 'pizza crunch' is another delicacy in Scotland (mainly Glasgow). This is battered deep fried pizza.
Not for me sorry. If I am having Fish & Chips then It Is going to be on Its own with plenty of salt & vinegar. Mushy peas If needed but not fussy. Same with Pizza, on Its own and definitely not a Pineapple one as thats just not right. I am stuck In my own ways and the way I was brought up. A friend of mine has a Black Forest Gateau with Ice Cream. Thats not normal. Can you Imagine going to Germany asking for Ice Cream with your cake. They would laugh at you. Even cream. It has cream already, why add more. Same as Hot Dogs. I did some Hot Dogs a few years ago and he said wheres the Butter In the buns, butter, you dont put butter on a bun. Again, Imagine going through NYC and asking for butter on your bun on one of those Hot Dog mobile carts. Some people live In a bubble.
I like both but don't think I would give it a go, it does not sound appealing to me
I am quite adventurous myself, for example if i ever go on holiday somewhere different i like to try the local food
I went to iceland three years ago and tried the fermented shark , horrible
But i also tried the liquorice ice cream i had never had before, delicious , and a combination you would never think of tasting nice , of course i like ice cream and liquorice anyway
So i always tend give different things a try
I would definitely not put the two together and to be that is an expensive meal unless you are sharing. My last pizza cost me £11 in a pub and my last fish and chips cost £10.50 in the best fish restaurant around.
