We are flying through. As we have to have overnight stays when going anywhere. Just wondering about food. What's the best option? Eating in the hotel restaurant. Getting a train to crawley and eating there but I don't know crawley or getting a deliveroo? Not sure if I can get a deliveroo to a hotel
Find a supermarket and buy your own food. It is bound to be less expensive and most supermarkets do a range of sandwiches, some even do hot food. Don't pay through the nose for take aways and restaurants unless you have money to burn.
Yes you can get a Deliveroo delivered to your Hotel. You can get all food delivered, but make sure you meet them outside. It will tell you that via the app. Put It down on the Instruction that you will meet them outside.
You can get food delivered to a hotel, you normally meet the driver outside the front door, but will need to put it in the delivery instructions box. Hotel restaurants can be expensive but convenient. Other option is to bring your own food.
The restaurants in the airport are generally overpriced but until you check in you will not be able access many. What we tend to do is head outside and walk to McDonalds or KFC. Only a short walk.
