So do any of you have a weird snacks, that shouldn't work but just does.

I love cheese spread with salt and vinegar crisps on a crusty bap or french stick, it has to be salt and vinegar though, I've tried other flavours and it does not work, you would think cheese and onion flavour would work but it doesn't

slightfoot don’t knock it till you try it! Tea is too weak on its own and just coffee can be too strong so cof-tea is the perfect balance

csjamesliu fair enough, I don't like coffee, so not for me, but you enjoy it

Love Corn have a Milk chocolate and sea salt flavour which I liked. Those packs were more expensive so I just used to eat the normal salted ones with some chocolate and got the same effect 😋

Pjran that sounds good to me actually as I can imagine the sweetness of the honey offsets the salty marmite.

My daughter ate marmite on toast today with strawberries on the side which I thought was a weird combo.

PhilipMarc i love pineapple on pizza but definitely can see why others wouldn’t. I’m not really one to typically like my sweet mixed with my savoury but in this case I’m a big fan

jigsawx3x In Farmfoods they do the Chicago Town 2 mini pizzas at 99p for the ham and pineapple flavour (my favourite flavour) but the other flavours are £1.49 and £1.69 so its a huge saving too.

Personally I like the american pizza flavours like ham and pineapple and don't think them weird at all.

I sometimes have curries on a bed of peas rather than rice just so its a bit healthier.

BonzoBanana definitely Hawaiian is my favourite. Not so unusual when you consider Gammon used to be served with a pineapple ring on top. We also have lots of things that combine sweet and savoury like cranberry with Xmas dinner, apple sauce with pork, mango chutney with curries. One of my favourite sandwiches as a kid was cheese and jam.

My Nan used to have sugar and lettuce sandwiches. I used to like them at the time, but I tried one a few years back and it wasn't pleasant! Not sure if my tastes have changed or it was just because it was my Nan who I loved dearly (and I was her favourite grandchild!). These days one of my fav combinations is marmite and fried egg on toast.
