I prefer Netflix myself over Prime and Disney. My current faves to watch are:

Good Girls, Stranger Things, Wednesday and The Umbrella Academy.

ChelsieLou90 I didn't think I'd like Wednesday, but I was really drawn in, it's dark but no unnecessarily gore. Apparently she doesn't blink through the whole series.

Apparently I used to look like her, Skinny, pale faced, dark hair and miserable 🀣

We have prime and are happy with it but it does depend on shows you like to watch I'd suggest getting a free trial with them all one at a time to see what suits you best

We've used them all, I'd recommend subscribing to any trials, watching what you want and then trying a different one, we all have our preferences.

Prime is great as you can also get Prime delivery, but I rarely check on Prime TV as I'm not a huge fan of the interface. I loved 'As We See It' it is a programme about a carer and some people with autism showing different traits and life, I love that many of the actors have autism in real life too.

Apple TV last time I checked (I had the trial, there wasn't much I wanted to watch on there. But I loved 'The Shrink Next Door'. Twisted therapist taking control of a patient.

Disney+ is brilliant, it has most of the Disney Films and more, not just the children's cartoons, a huge mix of things. We watched 'Moon Knight' they released 1 every week, it is a very mind boggling series, pretty dark even though it is a Marvel creation, it didn't feel like the typical superhero film, so if you don't like Marvel, don't let this put you off.

Netflix has always been the popular one, I watched some amazing series on there. Dexter was my absolute favourite but that is available on other things now.

I'm currently checking out Discovery+ more at the moment, lots of documentaries and reality shows, I tend to binge things, just finished Beauty and the Geek and have been watching I Am Shauna Rae.

If you haven't already, I'd probably save some money and work my way through the free ones, iPlayer, ITVX, All 4, My5 - I'm sure there are more.

UKTVPlay I'm not sure how you can access that other than a Fire Stick, but loved catching up on Dave Gorman: Modern Life is Goodish.

If I had to select a favourite of the paid ones, I always go back to Netflix, some great exclusives and originals on there.

The great thing about subscriptions with all these services is that you can cancel whenever you like. I'd recommend using all the free trials available then picking your favourite. We swap between most of them. Although we don't use Netflix very often as I find it hard to navigate and find things to watch.

Apple TV has some great series to watch like severance, slow horses, etc but there's not that much content on it compared to the others.

Suggest grabbing a free trial (if you are a customer of either sky and barclaycard, they're both offering a free trial for a few months) and watching what they have, and then canceling the trial

We just sign up for a month then cancel so we only pay for one month at a time, so month to month we can have none at all and just catch up on free steaming stuff or iPlayer, or we pick one based on what shows we’re interested in.

I just use YouTube (with ad-blockers), other free streaming apps (with ads but can be blocked), and so on.

I'm not a big fan of paying for multiple streaming services (Netflix was supposed to be *the* all-in-one streaming service until everyone decided to make theirs).

I use free services but I'm guessing most people would subscribe to one service for a couple of months then perhaps cancel that and move to another service to watch all the stuff that interest them there. Does anyone actually subscribe to multiple services simultaneously as that would seem like a waste of money on a streaming service where you can binge watch everything and then move on.

BonzoBanana On the community blu-ray.com/ I've read that there are some who do exactly that and it gets really expensive paying monthly for Prime Video, Netflix, HBO, Disney+, Paramount+, Peacock, etc.

That's easily $100+ per month just for streaming services alone. And the TV License is another expensive license by itself - Β£159/yr or Β£13.25/pm.

PhilipMarc I suppose they have a high disposable income and are happy to dispose of it. I'm of an age where I get a little bored of TV and movies as so much of it seems so familiar so I'm not as motivated to watch TV like I used to be. I struggle to find programmes to watch. I'm watching 'Last of Us' and 'LA Brea' at the moment. Looking forward to new seasons of Halo and Star Trek Strange New Worlds.

BonzoBanana I tried La Brea, and I gave up by the second season. It was horribly amateur, like a soap opera.

PhilipMarc I'm not going to defend it. It does lack a certain polish and there is very little science in it for science fiction but I enjoy it so watch it but I'm quite unfussy when it comes to science fiction.

My go to is Netflix it's the cheapest and I think it has good variety of stuff to watch. Then occasionally when there's a series/ movie I want to watch I get Prime for a week or month / or a month of Disney and binge watch everything I can. Occasionally really cheap deals for Now TV crop up. It's worth taking any free trials available too. I've never had apple TV.

Prime only for its service, not just for what shows they have, although some are good

I was signed up with Amazon Prime Video and Netflix for years. However, given there are so many streaming services now, I've started jumping from one site to another every month or so. I'm currently with Mubi. Next month I may try ViaPlay, which streams Nordic films & TV shows. Without the sports element, it's only Β£3.99 a month (after a free 7 day trial).

I’ve got Netflix , prime , Apple TV ,Disney I won’t be renewing most as I never find anything to watch , I literally can scroll for hours looking for a good show or movie and nothing. I spend all my time looking at trailers and these often show all the best bits of movie so why bother watching. Theres so much rubbish sometimes I can’t believe they would spend money making them. Netflix is basically **** masquerading as wholesome family tv. Everything has to have some nudity etc even if it has nothing to do with the story line.
