Retro Sweets or Chocolate You Miss?
Ask a Question
Does anyone remember Mars Delight? I loved those also starburst joosters and strawberry campinos.
What sweets/chocolates do you miss?
Celebrations chocolate have never been the same since they removed the Galaxy Truffles. I also loved Cadbury Dream. The best white chocolate ever invented in my opinion. There will always be a special place for them both in my heart.
CathSho13 Oh yes. I remember that one very well.
Roses just isn't the same anymore. x
Regularcomper90 Amazon dos the Cadbury dream bar of white chocolate. I brought it for a friend. It's around £8.00 or so. Now she buys it for her self. Hope this help you.
nicolajaynehend Thank you, Nicola. Perhaps it is only discontinued in the UK then. Thanks goodness for online shopping.
And that Nutella looks delicious.
RegularComper90 you very welcome. There might be other chocolates on Amazon that you can't get any more. Eddie says hi to you. Still can't get a girlfriend yet.
Does anyone remember Galaxy Swirls? From maybe 15 years ago. Caramel inside. They were the most delicious
RegularComper90 i dont remember them either, i googled them but couldnt find anything either i do love galaxy caramel they still do though
They were like oval balls (not an egg), smaller than a creme egg but bigger than mini eggs. Galaxy chocolate shell and caramel in the middle. They were a real treat.
I absolutely adored the Cadbury dream white chocolate and still miss it. I haven't found a white chocolate as good since it was taken off the shelves. I can see other people here seem to be missing it too!
I will forever miss the beloved heavenly Cadbury Dream. So many people seemed to have liked it, so I don't understand why Cadbury discontinued it.
I really miss Pacers. For those unfamiliar they were a bit like Opal Fruits, but mint flavoured.
Dream bars... and the white chocolate flakes... also those strawberry and cream hard boiled sweets you used to get.. i’m sure they began with a ‘C‘ but i dont remember their name
sarahgreen15 yeah their the sweets i mean, they were called campino. I did find a similar product in Aldi but they were discontinued aswell.
Does anyone remember vice versas? They were like minstrels but the brown shells had white chocolate inside and the white chocolate had brown chocolate inside. I used to love those
Used to like Star Bars, but also Frys Five Centres which was like a Fry's chocolate cream only with different fruit flavour segments.
Only remember it being in the Red wrapper thou
For me not a particular sweet but I miss the 10p mix up bags of sweets from the local news agents that I swear had about 30 sweets in each. And half penny sweets that were bigger than the 10p ones now
Black jacks.... definately black jacks. I think you can still get them but not in many place. Oh and milk duds love them.
I posted a deal the other day of 1kg mix of black jacks and fruit salads mixed. They were one of my favourites and i loved having a black tongue
I was going to say Spira as well, but will go for Cadbury Marble instead, a delicious mix of white and milk chocolate along with a hazelnut centre... I'd also like to try some of the extra varieties of Lindt Lindors they have in Japan, such as Matcha, Butter Pecan, Mango & Cream and Fudge Swirl.
SarahPrice I remember these from school in the 80’s I loved the beef ones used to be in our tuck shop for 10p.
ah yeah, i loved them and the pineapple cubes. Does anyone remember them little chocolate in a tiny foil colourfull case (similar to a cupcake case).

I can’t remember what it was called. But the icecream van used to sell a chewy chocolate bar for 10p. I loved it
I used to love the white mice back in eighties. I know they still sell them but i am sure the ingredients are different as they don’t taste the same.
I remember the campinos, they were lush as so smooth. I regularly buy sweets online and from the traditional sweet shops. Currently have, pear drops, cola cubes , cola pips and those powdered milk teeth if have any left of those in my stash
