Reusing Old AC Cables than Buying It
Money Saving
The other day I found an orange long cable in the attic (must have been there for years forgotten), I cleaned it up real well, added a plug (with an appropriate amp), and a single socket. There, good as new ready to be used for whatever. Honestly, this is something anyone can do and it's good knowing in case you need to change a broken/busted plug. And if you have an electrical with guarantee from an EU country with the Euro plug, you can use one of those cables or an adapter (but don't force a EUR plug in a U.K. socket because eventually it damages the socket from connecting properly).
