Won't affect me as our post knows where to leave parcels when nobody is home. He's been delivering to us for over 20 years and is worth his weight in gold.
Fortunately our postwoman always leaves my parcels in a safe place if we are out , which is just as well as the sorting office collection point is only open 08.00am - 1.00pm Mon - Fri and a few hours Saturday morning , which makes it difficult to collect parcels if your working
Thank you for this information! This works for me - good that the redelivery remains a free service
Cheers for sharing this I'm always having parcels delevired and this is great news thanks again
My lovely Postman knows me and delivers them In a safe place If I am not home or In bed as I work nights.
I live in a very small village and this is just what happens now. We are very lucky to have local posties who know who everyone is.
They need to change delivery office opening times mine are open 8 am to 10 one day then 8 am to 12 noon on others. I work 6am to 2pm so I have no chance at collecting or being at home when they deliver.
