Would You like some Salt in Your Coffee ??

In the News

Imagine going to a friends house for a coffee and instead of asking you if you want milk and sugar they ask you if you want milk and salt !

Apparently the experts are saying a small portion will take away the bitterness in coffee leaving it tasting smoother

I have heard about people putting it in their porridge before but never in coffee

Besides isn't too much salt bad for you ?

You cannot have it both ways

The article says soldiers in WW2 used to add salt to their coffee as it was so rank

Not for me i am afraid , i only use it on chips

I've gotta admit that sounds disgusting. Mind you I don't like salt on my food.

Dash of cocoa in the moka pot works well.I would probably cope with a dash of salt cos I nearly always have at least one glass of water with coffee anyway.Gotta be real coffee and not out of a jar though.Coffee snob that I am.

I drink more tea than coffee M , nescafe isn't too bad but prefer filtered coffee also, but never tried with salt

I put salt in my coffee accidentally instead of sugar once at college (many many many years ago) and I strongly do not recommend doing so, it's one of the most revolting things I have tasted
