Very random, no particular shop in my experience is better than another, you just have to look out for offers and deals or do some research via the internet before buying. Since Covid happened most stores are now like sheep and follow each other on prices as does Amazon now in my view. Really good deals are rare these days.

I think it varies - I compare via supermarket comparison apps before shopping. I find that many supermarkets only have 'best savings' on a few items so I shop around.

It really varies depending on what you are looking for.

If you see something that you think is a good deal It's always worth googling the product to see if you can find it cheaper elsewhere.

Look out for deal stacks and sign up to alerts on latest deals.

Sign up to loyalty cards and mailing lists. Camelcamelcamel is good for checking prices on amazon if your unsure if the price is good.

It depends what it is that you are looking for as to where to find the best deal on it.

I shop around, do the shopping at Morrisons for work BUT sometimes end up shopping before work as we have a BOYES supermarket which sells everything from Chocolate to Clothing..

I priced 250 ml Simple Hand Wash at £2 in Morrisons for last few weeks but only 99p at Boyes, Toilet Duck was cheaper also Air Freshners etc..

Really depends what you are looking for. I do a lot of research online before purchasing products. I find Matalan has very good sales.

I'm not very loyal to supermarkets and find I have favourite items in each one due to quality and/or cost. I tend to wait until I have vouchers and my typical shop would be reduced items, value items and special offers. Did a shop in Sainsbury's yesterday which used a £9 off £60 voucher but also 8% off Sainsburys if I using a Halifax credit card over £60 plus Nectar points on top. A lot of the stuff was Aldi price matched in fact I noticed baked beans were cheaper in Sainsburys at 26p instead of 27p. A lot of stuff you simply can't get in Aldi plus the iceberg lettuce at 70p was a very decent size not the tiny crappy ones that I see in my local Lidls recently. The shop was massively cheaper than any comparable supermarket because of the promotions I used. It's unlikely I will go to Sainsburys again for quite some time though. Next will probably be Tesco, Asda, Lidl, Aldi or Morrisons. In fact it should be Morrisons as I'll do a top up shop there as they have sent me a £4 off £20 promotion which lasts until May 14th. I may even walk there as my Morrisons is just at the end of a lovely local Nine Springs country walk which will save me petrol which is another saving and I can easily carry £20 of shopping.
