Silly Things People Have Said or Done

Other

This morning featured a story of a man frightened of spiders who tried to set one alight in his car. Result? His car was burnt to a crisp and emergency services called out.

Well known sports star who actually thought Game of Thrones was real history!

Ex's teen daughter (when we visited a well known carvery) smothered her dinner with horseradish sauce thinking it was bread sauce.

A woman on a tv show arguing with several peeps that Portugal was not a country, no matter how they tried to tell her she would not have it.

I could go on but over to you.

Surely he would have know his car would catch fire. I always hear amazing stories from the pupils and often think that can't be true.

MrsCraig They didn't go into it very deeply, but I assume he held a match or lighter under the poor spider and it got out of control! 🤔

. “We must demand that more coal be burned to save the Earth from global cooling.”

The “global cooling” myth is another favorite of climate deniers, despite broad scientific consensus that the planet is in fact warming. But it’s got to be an especially appealing fiction when you’re the CEO of a coal company – this statement is from a tweet by Don Blankenship, then the head of Massey Energy

You have probably guessed he is American 🙄
