Do People Find Olio Good?
Money Saving
Does anybody use Olio? Is it any good ? I am curious of people's experiences with this app
It's been a bit rubbish for me. There's never anything available in the area and when I've listed items, no-one has wanted them. I've given up on it tbh
I have found it quite useful but only use occasionally. It can be hit and miss a bit. I have given away stuff easily and have collected some items. Most things are free to stop wastage first and foremost so often not best quality but depends what it is and what you want it for. I read descriptions carefully and I never go for opened food. Sometimes food is past date but unopened best before or you can be lucky when some in date and untouched just not wanted. Also various non food items.
We never get the food because it is past his sell by date, but we do look for free stuff yesterday. I got too artificial indoors trees
And a dvd player with 28 dvds, all for free
I used to have it but it was never very good were we lived. There was occasionally some good items on it but not many. It's practically non existent where we live now.
Similar experience to most really, i downloaded it a few years back and there was never anything worthwhile round near me. Forgot the app existed till you posted this topic.
I love it. It's tricky getting people to pick up on certain days/times like today and Saturday nights but I get all sorts from it
I think it depends on where you are. Where I am it's massive but I think in other places not so much.
A lovely lady within walking distance from me has Pret goodies once a month, l can get a lovely tuna salad for that night and a wrap or baguette for my lunch next day, l have also given many non food items away.
