Is It Too Soon for a Mince Pie?

Ask a Question

Is too soon for a mince pie? 🎄

There are still 99 days until Christmas, but mince pies are already popping up on supermarket shelves! 😋

Christmas countdown started after our daughter 's birthday yesterday as there were 100 days starting from then..

I have seen Mince Pies in the shops for weeks & thought it was too early!

No it's not. I'm getting the bits in to make my mince meat. I like to leave it a while it works better that way

He he. No not at all. You can have them all year round if you really want to. A bit like hot cross buns at Easter but they are still around the rest of the year.

No it's not, but I don't know how you can eat them, they are horrible lol, I don't like them at all

Mince pies like puppies are not just for Christmas. Hot cross buns are a year round food too, it's sad they are not readily available everywhere

I think with just 3 months until Christmas they are fine to have now. looking forward to the Morrisons Fresh Cream ones becoming available as they are lovely.

Never too early. It can't be anyway since they are being sold now and they have a best before date of October.

I can’t resist a warm mince pie. I’d happily make some and enjoy them but I’m trying to cut down sweet things.

I dunno 🤷🏻‍♀️ I started eating them only last year cause I got a box free from the M&S advent giveaway lol

I’ve already started seeing Xmas 🎄 items at Home Bargains back on the 8th whilst I was in town lol 😝

If you fancy one then why not! personally I have never liked them but the Xmas chocolate is starting to line the shelves 👍.

Definitely too soon for me. I may have one at Christmas but that’s about it. I never add anything to it either, prefer them warm

Yes, but then again, anything goes. If you like them, you should be able to have them all year round

I don't like mince pies so won't be eating any. I have started to make a list of items to buy for Christmas and have been saving up since April so if you want a mince pie then go for it.

For me it's too soon for any Christmas things to be on sale. As for mince pies, I don't like them, and never have.

No, it’s never too early for a mince pie tbh i was finishing a box of last year last month. although I always get funny about hot cross buns and crème eggs being put out early so it’s really strange 😂😂
