Stuck on a Roller Coaster

How horrific is that being stuck on a roller coaster. I don't think about it at a place like Chessington but the mobile fun fairs I do. Talk about making the thrill a scare

I've only been on a roller-coaster once and I didn't enjoy it. I was 15 and it was at Disneyland Paris. Never been on one again and have no desire to go on one again, especially after seeing stories like this.
MrsCraig I know these stories while rare hence why the media cover still makes it horrible
I’ve never been on one and would never go on one. It’s not my idea of fun. I may have been on a tots one once but probably didn’t even enjoy that.
We took our sons to Disneyland when young and boys being boys they and their dad stood in front of the warning signs before we got on so I thought it was just a space ride.
My youngest son and I were in front carriage and after I realised it was a roller coaster in the dark I couldn't stop screaming. I was so scared my son would slip under the lap bar I had my arm stretched across him for the whole ride.
When I got off my legs could hardly carry me and I felt sick while all three of them stood chuckling!
Lynibis my mum told me a similar story about going on one with her boyfriend ( later my dad) and his friends...but think some of them came off poorly or green too....
That’s probably one of the best positions they could be stuck in. I remember years ago a roller coaster got stuck upside down on the loop for about 3 hours which obviously was bad for the riders.
I have not been on a roller coaster for years as I just don’t like them. So many accidents are happening recently something needs to be done to prevent these.
I remember about 17 years ago we were on holiday at flamingoland and got stuck on the magnum force . So scary
