Stupid Reasons You Really like a Product You Bought?

Other

You've bought something and found out something about it that makes it much better than you realised which is not one of the normal selling points.

I've got a metal bed frame with built in metal headboard and the headboard is perfect for resting a cup of coffee/tea on. It's a solid wide piece of metal and never flexes and I know if I take up a hot drink I can safely rest it there and its just at the height above where my head can't knock it. So useful but I never knew I needed it before. I do have a bedside table but I also have a cat that likes pushing things off surfaces especially when he wants to wake me up but he never jumps on onto the headboard as not wide enough and it is too high for him to nuzzle it off so he is not interested in it. Over the years I've had it I must have placed a hot drink there maybe 200 times without issue.

Haha love that. Great way to stop the cat knocking things off. I use bookshelves to for ornaments and got a Welsh dresser thing that has become my kids art cupboard

I use the small organza gift bags for PotpourrI. I put them in clothes drawers to keep everything smelling nice

PayItForward wiw that's a good idea. Never thought of that. Could be put in cupboards as well. My mum used tk put potpourri on the lid of the cats litter box. I don't blame her 3 boy cats and 1 girl cat. One was diabetic so used pee a lot and flood it. The other 2 boys were lazy or proud, so didn't cover their mess. Think one liked to show it off cos you know boys. The female was mortified when she went and properly buried it everytime

It’s great when that happens. I know it has has happened to me in the past but the only i can think off at the moment is when you buy a bag and realise it’s got more pockets than you thought.

eyeballkerry That reminds me of my current backpack I use. I bought it on ebay and when it came it had a special extra thick sleeve at the back for putting your laptop in to give it extra protection. I use a neoprene case anyway for the laptop I carry about and this extra thick sleeve means its even safer, so now I can put all the main irregular shaped shopping in the main area and still safely carry my laptop. A really good feature.

BonzoBanana On the subject of back packs my daughter purchased one which has a little stool inside. Not only great obviously for sitting on but was great as a little table on the beach.

I use he bags off the cereal packets, they're great for carrying Milk or Liquids, Raw Meat or Fish as they are so strong.

On a visit to my brother in law's home in Northern Ireland two years ago I noticed he was carrying his Milk in one, I told him that I keep & use mine for a multiple of purposes, he agreed that they are so strong so he keeps his for carrying Milk etc..

janphoenix51 wow. This is a good tip that never occurred to me. I always buy proper freezer bags, and they are quite expensive.
