Do You Suffer from Paranoia

Other

I think mine dates back to childhood when i overheard my father and stepmum talking about selling something which they referred to in a female context and i thought it was me!

My default setting has always been guilt when i get an unexpected call and my brain goes in to overdrive wondering what i have done even when i haven't done anything i can bring to mind.

I think i recently mentioned in chat about thinking my boss wanted rid of me when he asked colleagues if they knew when i was retiring. Turned out he was anxious for me not to leave😵

Recently he phoned out of hours and i immediately thought he was going to say he had a complaint about me when he was merely asking advice about a child i transport.

Probably too ingrained to change now!

Sounds like possible anxiety, I used to have similar problems and it can be pretty limiting at times to be worried all the time. I did go to the doctors tbh(not just cause of this one thing) and now take medication which has improved things a lot

jms19 no, I don't think it's anxiety as I am quite a confident person. In this pc age I am always conscious that I may say or do the wrong thing so when I get an unexpected call or someone says can I have a word I automatically think I am in trouble🤔😕

Yes I definitely do. It can keep you on your toes but it can make you worry about nothing as well

I am 100% and mine would date back to childhood to. Isn’t it awful how the smallest misunderstanding can change your whole brain

SaveMeSunday our childhoods have a huge impact, good and bad and I very much believe the end product is due to nature and nurture.
