Sweet Toothed Thief Steals 200,000 Cadbury's Creme Eggs

In the News

Most people love a cadburys creme egg now and again , but this thief stole a trailer containing nearly a quarter of a million of them

The total chocolate haul was worth £31,000

I would have loved to know where he planned to store them before they melted

The New Zealand slogan for creme eggs is "Don't get caught with egg on your face".

Well he certainly did that

The egg slogan here in the UK is 'How do you eat yours?', in his case , from a jail cell

Surely he's not going to sell them, so the only two options left is:

A) Eat it.

B) Give it away.

Don't think he's some kind of a Robin Hood.

The Cadbury Creme Eggs we know and love (or hate) today, weren't invented until 1963 under the name “Fry's Creme Eggs.” The name changed to “Cadbury Creme Eggs” in 1971.

I doubt anyone could eat a quarter of a million of them, well, not in one go anyway Image

The thief is welcome to them all. I wouldn’t buy them if he tried to sell them for 1p.

Pjran I bought them before to see what the big deal was, and they weren't anything special. Same for Terry's Orange Chocolate.

I do enjoy some Snickers (I originally wrote Sneakers, lol) Creamy Peanut Butter, though.

PhilipMarc I think creme eggs are too sweet for me. I like marathon bars and crunchies not that I’ve had any this year!

I only buy the Creme Eggs after Easter when Asda or Tesco reduces the price down to 25p. A very, very daft crook.

If it wasn't an opportunistic theft, he must have really fancied a snack 🤣🤣🤣

I really don't understand thieves if you can put that much effort into commiting a crime, why can't you get a job.

Midnightflower Crime is a job of sorts to some criminals M, well some are known as 'professional' criminals to the police

It wouldn't surprise me if they started giving university degrees in crime at some stage in the future , the government seem to give them everything else they want at present 🙄

Omg that's hilarious. I don't agree with stealing but this is crazy. Probably going to sell it in the pub
