Temu is It Any Good ?
Money Saving
Any comments about whether temu is worth it would be appreciated as I am unsure
The website itself is a bit of a mess, with stupid gimmicks and the like where you can allegedly get free items.
Once you get past these though there are some bargains to be had.
I bought a "replica" of the Titanic Lego set from Temu last year, the box was a little battered but all the parts were there and from what I remember it arrived in a couple of weeks.
blacklabrador totally agree with this. The packagaing isn’t the best but I was happy with my bargains, excellent for kids party bag stuff etc
It depends on what you buy. I did buy some stuff on Temu and generally ok but not great quality overall. A few things were mis-sold and didn't meet the description. It feels like Aliexpress to me in other service and accuracy of descriptions. I don't regret buying what I have bought but I'm also not that bothered about using them again.
My hubby has bought a few things from Temu. The worst thing he bought was 3 iPhone charging cables, which were useless. Also car cleaning polish which he tried out on my sons car. You get what you pay for and thats why its cheap.
We have used temu quite a few times in fact we have got a order coming I had pjs and jumpers from them I wash everything first but I can't complain they have been nice and comfortable
It depends on what you get. Some us good some not so good. I have got some bits from it. I don't get much and try not to use it because of how they treat their staff and aren't great for the planet
My daughter absolutely loves it. She puts in an order most weeks. Asks if anyone wants anything, she finds it and adds to her order. Most stuff that has arrived is exactly what you have ordered. Anything you’re unhappy with they will refund. Plus if an item goes down in price within 30 days you get the difference back into credit. Also if your parcel is late you get £4 credit. The weirdest item that arrives was four wicker coasters, three rolls of tape and 15 plastic stoppers but my daughter had only ordered 30 plastic stoppers!
eyeballkerry My husband has had a few credits, but I thought it was a scam to get your bank details. He has always paid for the goods by PayPal in case the items didn't turn up.
I've had a lot of stuff of there, some good some bad. I see a lot of people say it's a scam etc but I've never had an issue. I never use my main email address, bank account to pay, always a secondary one
We use to use it quite a bit but stopped due to items not turning up, at first it was fine , then our last 3 packages didn't arrive, big orders too
Had some things from there which are quite nice especially for the price paid.Other things less good but always worth the money paid.
I had a drastic weight loss due to ill health and now disabled and I needed to get clothes and I had some donated to start with but I wanted to buy myself summer clothes and also need comfy and I used SHEIN at first but now use Temu as I now have moved to my own place again and I needed home ware and it was better on Temu (cheaper ) for odds and ends and a few tips are to look at the measurements I’ve had things turn up and they’re tiny like ice packs and the refunds are easy , even clothes of your unsure it says measurements , pay with PayPal and buy in advance of things like birthdays as it can take 10 days or so .
A lot of the stuff on Temu amd shein is sold on Amazon too I needed compression socks and that was my first order with SHEIN as they were over 25 quid on Amazon and then less than 8 on SHEIN and I needed every penny as I started from scratch too .
Hope this helps
I've personally never used it but heard stories from friends. Parcels not turning up and not being refunded for them. Items not being what was advertised, items being poor quality and breaking after one use. Items arriving broken and not getting a refund. I won't be using them after all the negative stories I've heard.
I’ve ordered quite a few things from Temu and everything I have ordered has been quite good quality and affordable, I even got £5 back from them as my order was delivered late, I always pay by PayPal and I’ve had no problems
