Think of Kids First This Xmas
Other
am going to say this but please if you have children but planned to spend it with other bubbles please don’t, when my first 2 were younger we would alway pop to both grandparents to exchange gifts, my kids always looked unhappy taking them out away from their new toys. You can visit grown adults another day after things calm down.
If you come under the category for example lonely go ahead, myself be more then happy spending on my own but I have kids to think of. Single parents again one of you will be taking a child away from their toys for a dinner which on most houses at Xmas is same has any Sunday just with turkey and spouts.
Don’t panic if not got everything you needed a healthy happy home is what’s needed now.
If we all can pull together and offer help if you have a delivery for groceries ask that neighbour across the road you see struggling with her bags does he/she need anything.
We can soon get back to normal
From the limited conversations I've had about this with my 2 young Nephews they seem remarkably level headed and mature about it.
They said they are going to miss seeing their Nannies and Grandads, but would rather that than put them at risk.
blacklabrador same here mine haven’t even been out with friends to keep their grandparents safe, we already planned weeks ago back in October that the in laws weren’t coming this Xmas and I be lying if said am sad about this.
To be honest I have not heard any kid complaining about lockdowns or Xmas gatherings it’s only been fully grown adults.
Ann1984 Absolutely, if only half the adults were as switched on and mature as these kids.
