100% they listen because sometimes it comes up with things that i’ve talked about but definitely never search for.

Does she have an Alexa? If yes it will be that, we were talking about dental implants once, the next thing I'm seeing ads , not once did I put anything into my phone regarding this subject

martinlufc5637 I get it on my laptop M, just discussing something and 10 minutes later adverts appear for the item discussed, it happens all the time

They do collect data from us, what we like, what we dislike, etc. Whether voice or text (websites, apps, and so on).

I have ads set to non-relevant ads and it works for me.

100% something is going on. It has happened to me a few times, been talking about something and lo and behold turns up online.

Yes they are selling your data if you choose to let them. I personally don't do that. This laptop I'm using only has a local account which isn't in my name and not linked to a email address so Windows actually runs faster as there is less software installed processing what I am doing and sending the data back to Microsoft. Windows nowadays prevents local accounts as much as possible and forces you to sign in to it but there are workarounds to still have a local account. No reason to give away your data for free especially when it slows down devices.
