What's you thought about New Year's Resolution?
Ask a Question
Hey everyone, I know it's quite early to think about it but do you have a new year's resolution?
Did you follow last year's one?
Nope never thought about it I take each day as it comes so new years revolutions are not on my mind
Leannexxx Life is short, why does it have to be a year? Why can't it be new month revolution? Everyone mentions it and I try and make one but never follow it. I know exactly what you mean.
I don’t usually bother with it tbh because i try to set myself goals throughout the year anyway
jms19 Fair enough, I think people make it a big thing when you literally have the whole year. Why can't it be monthly resolution or weekly resolution?
Don't you mean 'resolution', or did you really, actually, mean to say 'revolution'....? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
DustyFogg Too much makeup lol.
I only realised when I read your comment. Thank you, I have now fixed it
No. Whenever I used to make them I always broke them after a while so don’t see the point. Unless you want to change job or direction in life that’s different and new year is a good time for that.
JLouM I am exactly the same! I kept breaking them, I think my big one would be to buy thing that I need, everything is just ridiculously expensive.
I never make a New Year's Resolution. I don't see the point in them really. If you want to make changes you can do it any time throughout the year.
MrsCraig That's a really good point and it's true. You don't need to wait a whole year to say "Im going to do this better this year".
I've never made a new year resolution, I'm happy with things the way they are, if I need to make any changes i would just do it
Perdonally I have never made a New Year's resolution in my life and wouldn't, if there was something that I needed to do or chnge then I would try and do it at that time.
You can do this right now. Buying fruits, vegetables, meat, wholemeal bread, fruit juices, cooking oil (sunflower). Baking, grilling and steaming. Just use your imagination or watch a cookery programme on TV or read a free newspaper cooking section. (NO boil sweets, doughnuts, Starbuck style coffee).
Years ago I used to make them but they never lasted so I don’t bother anymore, although if I did it would be to travel more. This one I could keep going.
Not really I’m a go with the flow type of person haha but still it would be nice to have like a set target to meet? But then it may seem like you have a timer to do something and your may get stressed out with not having achieved anything
I'm going to focus on me and try and be happy. I'm going to leave my ex partner and get a place of my own. Life's short and I've realised I'm wasting time.
When l was really young l use to make them but never managed to keep them ever, now l just take each day as it comes as lm never gonna be in control of anything l do in the future.
Always make them, every year they're similar. the longest I've lasted is 3 months . Not sure if I'll bother this year
