This is the Toy of the Year , Get Ready to Be Blasted !

In the News

In my day the nearest thing to this years top toy was a whoopee cushion, we thought it was hilarious

But roll on the years to 2024 and this years top toy is an upgrade on this, the 'fart blaster'

To be honest it looks more fun than the old whoopee cushion, it emits 15 sounds that blasts “fog fart rings” and you have a choice of 2 odours , yes , it even emits smells

I bet this will find its way to many homes on christmas day, the kids will love it

But don't worry too much , the smells are banana and the second smells like burnt popcorn, so not too odious

There will be worse than that after the brussel sprouts on christmas day

My daughter had the minions fart blaster a couple of years ago, she loved it and had loads of fun playing with it, it got a bit annoying though lol

telmel I remember them as a kid, these type of toys never get old, spend many an hour in the joke shop , I haven't seen a joke shop in a long time

It won't be the toy of the year in our house, our son wouldn't be interested in one. He has already asked for what he wants. He only wants 2 toys this year. Santa will of course bring a few more surprises but a fart blaster won't be one of them.

MrsCraig I bet he would love it if you got it as a surprise M , saying that £30 is a bit steep as a stocking filler

Here's an interesting fact about the cheaper version whoopee cushion M, what happened was a bit extreme though , someone really got fed up of it in the end

Talk about putting the ass in assassination, maybe that's where the word whoops comes from ?

The origin of the whoopee cushion can be traced back to the teenage Roman emperor Elagabalus, who regularly pulled the practical joke at aristocratic dinner parties. His guards were soon fed up with these antics and he lost the respect of his people. He was assassinated at the age of 18

telmel that is definitely a bit too steep, he will not be getting one as a stocking filler. If it isn't car themed he isn't interested.

MrsCraig I know the feeling M , i like cars, but more classics or convertibles

Not a fan of EVs though, they are not true cars in my eyes

I wonder how they decide what the toy of the year or must have for Christmas is.

I miss the kids of having bikes etc for Christmas, that’s all my eldest son used to have every Christmas without fail and would always be out with his mates on their bikes Christmas day
