Traveller King Gets UK's Biggest 37 Ton Headstone

In the News

A traveller named big willy collins from yorkshire has been given the UKs largest and heaviest headstone weighing 37 tonne

It is made from solid Carrara marble and features two life-sized statues of his six-foot-two frame

It also has a solar-powered jukebox playing his favourite tracks

He sired nine children

With the headstone lit with led lights i dont think he can ever be forgotten

Whether its because of his name and fame or just because of his resting place

I looked up this story, as I had vision of the juke box playing records non stop, but its for when mourners to link up to their Bluetooth

Wouldn't like to think how much this cost

What a complete waste of money. Where did all this money come from???? The travellers I see in my local park squatting or living in the park looks poor and unemployed.

I saw thus on my tiktok - honestly in my opinion is far too OTT. Its got to have cost thousands and thousands because its around 5k easy for a marble angel statue.

There's one word for 'travellers' in these parts, but it wouldn't be allowed on LD.

Ann1984 Its the same with their vehicles A, no tax, insurance or mot and bald tyres on most, park when and where they want , no council tax to pay , that's how they can afford lavish gravestones and the like , and the tax free tarmacing as mentioned

How did that monstrosity get permission for it to be erected? Or is it on private land?

The giant marble memorial was built without planning permission, so will have to be changed.
