Would You Use This ? the First Indian Takeaway Drive-thru in the UK

In the News

While i was reading this article i was salivating thinking of all the flavours of the food showed, Indian is one of my favourites

And for the first time in the UK there is now a drive thru Indian , the Chaiiwala in Bolton Manchester

Not only are the prices very competitive with the likes of McDonalds and KFC etc, but a lot more appealing, well to me anyway

Another great plus is that the packaging is recyclable , so all in all i would say it was a success

I suppose it was only a matter of time that we had a drive through Indian takeaway, I am not sure why it's not happened sooner. It saves hanging about in the lobby waiting for your meal.

Nope only cos I want to eat it there and then. I'd rather get a delivery to be honest.

I would use It If the price Is right. If Its anything like what the charge at some of my locals then NO. I have not had a takeaway for ages now as their prices just like everything else has sky rocketed. I dont live near Manchester so If something came down to the South West and was reasonable I would try It out depending on their prices of course.

Emerge11 The prices seem reasonable to me E, that persons order was quite substantial and compared favourably with other fast foods , i suppose they can keep their costs lower with it not being a restaurant

I’d definitely use it. Even better if they have an app so you can pre-order

MARKGUY3472 Good luck with that M if you work shifts, i doubt they deliver if closed

A drive through can be 24hrs service

Besides you will pay a premium for delivery with the price of fuel as it is , that's if they offer delivery in the first place

It’s not much different than going and collecting a takeaway (which I normally do to ensure it’s fresh) so would definitely use a drive through curry house
