Getting Paid for Walking: Has Anyone Tried CASHWALK?

Other

Image

Has anyone else discovered the CASHWALK app? Iv had it a few days now. You get a coin for every 100 steps and can get 100 coins a day. You can earn coins in other ways to. You only need 1250 for a £5 gift voucher. Worth having the app If you want to make a little extra just for your everyday walking around 🙂 I haven’t cashed anything out yet but thought I would see if anyone else has tried it yet.

I am a regular user of Cashwalk app. And I got £5 Amazon gift card. It’s really good to get anything just doing nothing much. Getting paid for walking. So relaxing this words. I won more £5 gift cards. And it’s pushing me to walk more. ☺️

I use cashwalk and have never had any problems getting rewards paid out. The only real issue is the games, at first i got the points rewards for hitting the goals but for the past 2 or 3 months they haven’t credited my account and there is no response from customer services.

For anyone using cashwalks i’d say just stick to steps for getting coins.

I use it. I have managed 2 £5 Amazon vouchers since starting using it. I now have a third to apply for. Takes some time building up though, a few years now. I don’t play games but I open the ad boxes for bonus coins. I don’t watch, I just let run on silent and do something else. I don’t want to listen to drivel. Walking round supermarkets, up and down stairs as well as out and about.

This could be a good cash earning app. Does it work walking around indoors too? Might be the dfc trying to catch benefit cheats on. Lol.

nadinegregg70 It’s only £5 a time and takes a long time to get to target.

Have tried out Sweatcoin but feel like it’s not really worth it . And I’m unsure how they get the money from people walking????

£5 voucher has jumped from 3750 coins all the way up to 6250 coins, will possibly still keep it for a bit but probably not worth it anymore as it drains the battery and will take months to get anything.

jms19 Didn’t realise it has doubled the target. I might stop using it too if it becomes too hard to meet.

JLouM it wouldn't be so bad if they paid out the rewards for playing the games but I've done a few and then they didn't pay out and no one ever replies when trying to complain.

jms19 I never play the games but I do watch the ads. Well I let them run and collect those additional coins.

I know it's not a laughing matter, but I put my Sister on to the app about 3 months ago.

She's yet to cash out, as no sooner does she get withing sniffing distance of a voucher then they up the cash out threshold. 😆

blacklabrador won’t be surprised if it hits the 10000 mark in just a few months with no warning again

Found out last night they had put the points up for cashing out on cashwalk. Absolutely gutted as I had enough on Monday but due to working had no time to cash out.

My wife’s been using it for about a year now, getting on quite well but frustrated by the fact they keep increasing how many points you need to earn to claim vouchers

jjs1985 I have four walking apps now. Which don’t need setting up before you walk like others I know off. Apart from one I use. It’s takes a while in the evening cashing all the steps in!

People still using this app? I’ve been a user for a year now and managed to finally get £100 worth of Amazon vouchers in that time. Getting harder to get the minimum of a fiver mind

csjamesliu yeah i did pretty well between the steps and playing mobile games but they’ve really upped the price and i’m close to deleting cause it drains battery and just isn’t worth the £5 every 2 months i receive.

I saw they added 6 mystery boxes for coins, each one can be doubled by watching another ad, but that’s 12 ads to watch (at least cause they don’t work half the time) for like 100 coins more total.

jms19 yeah noticed that too which is a slight improvement but still takes far too long to get enough for a voucher

csjamesliu yeah all the comments in the community were people complaining, each time it was a significant jump in price and i get that it’s free but it’s still annoying of them to move the goal posts so much.

Think most will jump ship

LOL suprisingly enough I haven't tried it, might be something to do with the fact that I'm disabled. When they bring out a similar version for mobility scooters I will be first in line LOL

Not on CASHWALK but I am on winwalk app. I've checked out plenty of Amazon vouchers in the 2 years I've had it downloaded onto my phone. I'll deffo give CASHWALK a try.

I still use CASHWALK as it’s so easy. Once you have installed it and logged into the app the rest is done for you. You do have to remember to claim your steps daily by clicking on them. I would forget when I first started and at midnight the day changes and your steps start at 0 again for the day (if you’ve clicked and claimed them they are added to your total balance . You can cash out once you have enough points in your balance.

Nickyhaslam77 yeah but the main gripe is the sudden and large jump in points needed to actually accrue enough points to get vouchers which annoys people.

csjamesliu I too was a bit disappointed in that but as it doesn’t really require me to do anything except click daily to claim the points accumulated whilst I’ve walked throughout the day I am still registered with them

See it’s easy to earn points . Your steps are shown in middle and if you earn 1000 steps a day you get a bonus and another bonus at 2000

Oh no they’ve increased the threshold to 12500 for just a fiver - 100% increase! And I thought UK inflation was bad 😭

csjamesliu Well that's me out tbh, I get 100 coins a day for the 10k steps then make about 100 coins from watching the adverts. So that's about 2 months to make £5. On top of that the adverts don't work half the time so I end up watching twice the amount. I did the games for coins in the early days, but then there were errors and it didn't track. I tried to email them loads of times and they never reply. The app slows down phones and kills off the battery.

They had put the price up several times and people's feedback has always been that they would like some notice about this so they can cash out, but they haven't bothered.

Can imagine there will be a mass exodus.

To think it was 1,250 coins for a £5 voucher when I started using it last year.

I've just deleted it, these increases in coins needed to cash out are ridiculous.

I suppose I'm lucky I've had about £30 out of them.

blacklabrador Yes but how would you know they have done that? Also if you deleted and started afresh would it start at a lower count anyway? 🤔

Like

jms19

JLouM You can check on google with threads on reddit etc. The count would not be any lower or higher as it is now 20000 coins per £5, when you spend the coins to get the voucher you just go back down to 0 coins to start collecting again.

I deleted after the raise to 12500, I saw a lot of people stating they were doing the same, doesn't seem like it's made any difference if they've further raised it to 20000. Looking at about 4 months max walking to get that. I suspect the reason they're doing all this is to push people to play the games/do the offers to earn coins. I did play some of the games to get coins in the past, problem is when they don't credit coins for goals reached they never reply to customer service emails and there is no way to dispute it so other platforms are better.

JLouM I guess they'd know there was a decrease in users because ads would be viewed less.

I am sure there are clever software tweaks so they know exactly how many people download or delete the app.

blacklabrador Well I decided to delete it as I think 50,000 is a bit ridiculous. It was good when I started but these increases with no notice are quite off putting.
